Financial Planning appointment

To be prepared for the meeting

  • Please complete your 26-27 FAFSA at least 3-5 days prior to your appointment. We can't give you the results of the FAFSA if it has not processed. **Please note, prior to completing your FAFSA, the student and one parent must first create an account (studentaid.gov, then select "create account" next to the green login button).  This account sets up student/parent usernames and passwords, which will be used for e-signing the FAFSA.  Once the accounts are created, they take a couple of days to activate before allowing the student/parent to complete the FAFSA.  Once the FAFSA has been submitted, it also takes a few days to process before giving results.**

  • If you are under 24, not married, and no children, your parent must be on your FAFSA and complete their part.  If you have an unusual situation such as legal guardianship, deemed homeless or a ward of the court let us know.  If your parent is unwilling to be on your FAFSA, you will be very limited in financial aid.

  • MARCH starts:  If you are attending in March, you'll need to complete a 25-26 & a 26-27 FAFSA.  A march start is a split FAFSA year.

  • Parent and student must have completed their 2024 Federal taxes.  These are the taxes used on the 26-27 FAFSA.

Who should attend

Both the student and parent must attend.  However, you may bring others.

What to bring

  • Drivers license and social security cards for both student and parent.

  • 2024 Taxes and W2's for both student and parent.  If the student worked, but didn't file taxes, just bring the W2's.

What will be accomplished

  • You'll receive the results of your FAFSA and leave with a financial plan in your hand that shows how your first academic year will be paid for.  We'll help you fill out all the necessary  paperwork for financial aid.

  • We'll go through dress code, attendance policy, enrollment agreement, rabies vaccination and all other forms.  You will be all set to start school.

Deposits

  • $50 Tuition deposit due once accepted
  • $50 Confirmation deposit due at Financial Planning appointment
  • $100 Housing deposit due once decided
